2-3/4 x 1-3/4 inch fine pewter trinity crucifix and miraculous visor clip. Includes a Miraculous Apparition card (visor clip attached).
The symbolism of the trinity on the visor clip, depicts God the son as Jesus crucified on the cross. The immediate background is a larger depiction of God the father, with arms outspread as father and protector. The third imagery is the Holy Spirit depicted as either an all encompassing halo or as a descending dove.
The front and back of a miraculous medal appears on the visor clip next to the trinity crucifix on the right side. Around the outside of the frame of Mary on the front of the medal on the right side of the visor clip are the words inscribed, "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee." The year 1830 is inscribed on the front which represents the year Catherine Laboure, the daughter of charity was blessed with the apparitions Mary Immaculate. The back of the miraculous medal on the right side of the visor clip has an engraved "M" with a cross on the top and the "sacred hearts" underneath surrounded by twelve stars. The large "M" represents Mary as mother. The left heart is the sacred heart and the right heart is the immaculate heart.The twelve stars represent the 12 apostles who formed the first church
